The story is actually made from a Japanese manga, Kimi wa Petto by the author Ogawa Yayoi.
I haven't seen the Japanese version with Matsumoto Jun who plays the "pet" but I've actually seen one episode and I kinda stopped watching the drama somehow.
Anyway, the movie was good and it gave me a good laugh when Jang Geun Suk acts like a dog and it's not everyday you see him acting like that in his movies.
I wonder how does it feel to take care a handsome man who will or wants be your pet? Well, it must be a really good reason why.
It must be a burden to lie to people that instead of taking care of an animal, it's a human. But things ends up good later, I guess.
In other words, watch the movie! :D
